ive been dying my hair alot and now my hair takes absolutly ages to grow. Its soo annoying it grows say about an inch every year and i want my hair long

Start off by not coloring your hair any more for a while, if you do use a non permentant type, the ones that wash out in like 24 washings are not as harsh. Some people think this is a "Old wives tale" but it works for me...try trimming your hair on a full moon, doesnt have to be much 1/8 inch will do.
My hair took forever to grow till I started doing this, now I can get my hair to grow almost 2 feet in two years. Hope it helps.
I always use homemade hair packs for my hair. I have straight and long hair.
I tried some of the hair packs given on this link which really worked wonders

My hair is like cotton candy and doesn't grow either...I gave up years ago and just started getting extensions. I mean, my hair GROWS, but it breaks off so fast it doesn't look like it. Even with trimming. Some of us just have crappy hair.
