Lightening hair after dyed - Hair Problems Message Board

I previously dyed my hair black and am now wanting to change this to blonde is there any way of doing this? will plain ol bleach work? Oh I should say, I dyed the roots a red colour not so long ago too... will this affect anything

any info will be greatly appreciated

I would'nt try to strip your hair yourself. It's not as easy as some people think. I would go and have it professionally done.

get highlights. trust me.. i died my hair dark brown (my normal color is blonde) i got highlights, and it looked more natural than coloring it back. it also depends what color your hair naturally is.
