cant grow a full beard or mustache! - Hair Problems Message Board

im 17 and i only get peach fuzz on my cheeks and chin, and on my upper lip i get a little bit of hair, enough where you can see it dark but not enough to grow in full. what can i do to grow a full beard or mustache if possible for my age? lol

You are still in the stage of hormones going topsy turvy. Don't worry about a beard or mustache, many girls like clean shaven fellows instead of those with bristly beards that scratch.

Shave the peach fuzz and be delighted you do not have to worry about a 5:00 o'clock shadow.

lol i just want it so people stop thinking im 13! i have to show people my ID to convince them im 17 lol! its getting annoying. but thanks for the help

When people look younger than they are, usually they look younger in old age too and it is a blessing. When you are retired and people do not think you are old enough to be, you will appreciate the youthful look. Most of your friends will be old looking and you will still look younger than your age.

Yeah! I know, it is the pitts now, but you will have your day.

Hey, I'm going onto 26 and I cannot grow a full beard or mustache, so don't feel bad. Mine will grow, but it comes in all patchy and crappy looking, so I just shave it before it gets out of control, cuz' I don't like the way it looks, and I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it or not.

I'll have to go see a dermatologist about it soon, and find out I suppose. And, I also have the young look, which I never really thought about when I was younger, maybe because back then I didn't look younger than I was, but I do now, and I know I will only appreciate it when I'm even older.....depending on if I make it that far.
