Hair damaged from straightener - Hair Problems Message Board

I have straightened my hair a lot recently and curled it. I have horrible breakage split ends. I have used that Aussie 3 minute miricle and it didn't really help. I also use thermasilk and it doesn't help that much. My hair is really fine too. Please let me know what might help me out. I am going to go get it cut today but I needed advice on how to keep it healthy with all the heat products I use. Thanks again in advance.

You might try a straightener that has steam. I use Conair Straight Styles.

Thanks for the advice. I needed to know about other conditioners and such because I curl my hair a lot too.

Matrix makes something called Thermal Active Setting Spray. It's sold in salons. You spray it on before curling, etc. and it helps protect it from the heat of the irons.

try the new vo5 miracle mist. it's made to help protect your hair against the damage done by heat styling.
