I think the biggest question you need to ask yourself is, do you REALLY need it? A co-worker of mine had it done, but her hair was already pretty straight. She would always complain that she hated her hair, and that it was "frizzy" and what not, but honestly it looked pretty damn smooth and straight to me. When she had it done, it went VERY straight and flat, no body at all... I thought it looked sort of weird, and I personally didn't like it on her, but I guess she was happy since she didn't have to spend as much time styling. Anyways, my point is that I think this procedure would be helpful for someone with unmanageable hair, but if your hair can be fixed using a flat iron and a little product, I'm not sure you wanna go that permanent. Also, it's safest on healthy, 'virgin' hair... or else damage could occur! Good luck with whatever you choose
