Help with grey. - Hair Problems Message Board

Looking for help with my wife's greying hair. She started greying in her early teens. If she didn't color, she'd be 100% grey, at 40. Has anyone had any luck battling the grey? Are there any supp's, homeopathics, herbs, etc. that can help? What are the causes of premature greying? Most people just color, I'm more interested in trying to understand how the greying process (or hair health) works rather than what hair coloring products are best.

Alot of time the grey comes from genetics. I know that mine did. My father was grey at 16 and bald by 21. Grey runs in his family. I have been greying since my teens as well. As far as I know there is nothing health related with the grey. I too, color my hair and have been doing so for over 20 years.
