| Re: My hair too much chemicals?
If you are using a chemical straightner every day, I'm surprised your hair hasn't fell out. You should NOT be doing this. Although, if you are just applying a straightening product after shampooing and using a hot iron, there are several things to do to help protect hair from the heat. Deep conditioning treatments twice a week, thermal styling products, regular trims, stay-in condioners, ect... There are also vitamins for hair and nails that you can find almost any where. Drink lots of water. Hairsprays do not cause dandruff. You are probably noticing product build up on the hair from using too much. A clarifying shampoo will strip off product build up, but you need to use a good conditioner along with it.
My hair is naturally curly and tends to frizz in high humidity. I use products with humectants to help with this. I love Humectress(nexxus), and use it everyday as a stay in conditioner. See a hairdresser, and address your problems with him/her. A good hair cut also will minimize a lot of the bushiness, and you may need to have some of your hair thinned out if it is really thick. Hope this helps.
I'm not familiar with Maxiglide, but you could also contact the maker (phone number should be on the box) and ask them for suggestions.
