cradle cap - Hair Problems Message Board

im 20 and i've had cradle cap since i was little its like so annoying cuz i always have scabs and stuff on my scalp, i have really pretty hair like im not trying to boast but the whole scalp issue has been ******* me off lately. i have used stuff from sallys beauty supply before but it only stops it for like a few days, and dandruff shampoo doesnt really help cuz its more than dandruff. ugh its gross. anyone know anything that will help. am i some kind of freak cuz i have this still and im 20.

I really didn't think an adult could have cradle cap, but I asked my baby's pediatrician how to take care of his slight case of it and I was told to use 1% hydrocortisone cream on it, leave it on over night or a few hours and comb it out before washing it. I assume it would work on an adult too. Have you asked your doctor about it?
