| Re: Perms? Cool? Disasters?
Most of the stories I have heard involve severe damage when perming your hair straight. Thermal reconditioning is the best method as far as lessening the damage, but that costs upwards $500 and I've STILL hear of people complaining about hair breakage. I wouldn't do it--I have yet to find someone happy with thier perm. You could try using products to work with the natural texture of your hair.
