Wash Hair After Perm?
It is necessary to wait 48 hours after a perm to wash your hair? What happens if you wash it sooner? I got a perm this morning and don't like the way my hair was styled - can I wash it tonight?
Thanks for any advice.

The chemicals in the perm haven't had enough time to set yet. If you get it wet too early, the hair won't hold. Even if you wanted to wash it to get rid of the perm, I wouldn't recommend that because it wouldn't make it nice and straight again, it would just be weird: kind of curl, kind of kink, kind of straight.
