I have been shaving for serveral years however over the last year I have noticed hair growth on cheeks – its fine hair but as im asian and very fair it is easily noticable. The hair is growing out of range of the normal shaving line. I was contemplating using hair removal creams as I find it really irritating when I look in the mirror to see find hairs growing in this area.

It also appears that my shaving line is coming closer up my cheek as I seem to be shaving further in each time. Can anybody help.

I knew a guy who had that too (he was also asian...maybe it's an asian thing...?). The only reason why I saw it was because I was kissing him, so I was really close to his face. It didn't look weird, just so you know. Sometimes we think that people can see things on our faces that really they can't see or they don't notice, or don't find weird looking.

I can't help much with a removal idea except the usual (waxing-after a while it will probably become less and less, laser removal--expensive, or depilatory creams like Nair), so I hope others comment as well. I just wanted to say that you probably don't need to worry about it.

would it be wise to use hair removal creams around the cheek and face area.
would the hair grow back thicker once used.

Hair will not grow back thicker after using a hair removal cream.

Just shave that area as well.....don't use any removal creams around the eye areas...even on the cheek area.

It could be that as you are maturing, hormones are changing and that might be your beard line....

Are you opposed to shaving there? Is it you don't want to shave there as often?

We all have hair allll over our faces, even females. Some are more noticable than others, and depending on genetics and hormones, it will grow in different areas more visibly.
