Thick Hair Problems

I'm trying to grow out my hair long, but I have extremely thick hair and it poofs out abit.
I've been told as it grows longer that it will go through an awkward unmangeable phase, which I believe it's going through as of now.
And when it finally passes through that phase it will work it's self out and my hair will weigh it's self down.
My question is are there anything I can to do manage it in it's current phase, I know I can get it thinned, but is thinning your hair actually good for it?
Any suggestions be it products or whatever would be helpful.
Thanks.

Re: Thick Hair Problems

Thick hair is one of the most common problems, as it is difficult to manage if you have thin hair and you want long hairs first it is important to find the right style for you , for thick hair layered styles are the most suitable as one length styles makes hair more seem more thick and volumed, there are layered styles where there be the use of razor the one to thin hair , when thinning hair with razor hair looks more neat an managable in your case, it is important also to use the right shampoo and conditioner as thick hair mostly be very dry also treatments and leave in conditioners will help a lot.

Re: Thick Hair Problems

There are sort of to choose from.
Like keune range better to choose for( ( dry hair) ) as thick hair mostly be dry
there are l oreal and
umberto giannini ( sleek and chic straightening shampoo and conditioner) these are not real straightners they just calm the hair to be more managable when shampooing etc.
