egg yolk? please help me with some tips or ideas :(

i have a somewhat high line, and its always been somewhat thin up there....

im only 22....ive started taking iron pills and also am trying to cut down on soy.....i dont know if im going bald...there is some baldness on my mothers side....but like i said my hairs always been thin in some areas...but im afraid im gonna start losing what i have....and i dont want that to happen

i am on prozac and welbutrin, and im going to talk to my doctor to see if that could result in it thinning more than usual.

what exactly is the egg yolk process? will it help thicken my hair?

im really curious about some egg yolk and oil methods..any tips?

thanks

The only thing I know about egg yolk is that it has biotin in it, which is good for the hair. About your meds, Prozac and Wellbutrin do cause hair loss. However, your doctor might not want to admit to it. But, I know from personal experience that they both do. In fact, I'm getting off Prozac after the first of the year because I can't take the hair loss anymore.

Absolutely get off the Wellbutrin!! It most definitely can cause hair loss... There are other meds out there that can help you as well... Lexapro, Paxil, Effexor just to name a few... and these don't have the same hair loss effect...

I have no idea about the egg yolk mixture... sorry...

Hey!
I use yolk on my hair sometimes. Put it in my hair and leave for couple of hours, or less or more, depending on how busy I am. It's quite messy and get's dry really quickly so you have to be quick putting it in. Put a shower cap or a towel around it to stop it drying out too quickly.
I am quite lazy and don't do it regularly but I've been doing it on and off since I was small, someone in my family used it and swore by it. I even remember seeing an Egg Shampoo somewhere once, so I think there is some goodness in it! And it's natural, rather than taking Biotin!
