yellow dandruff - Hair Problems Message Board

How do I get rid of it. If I take a comb and go over my hair, little yellow dandruff flakes come up and some of my hair with it. I'm already losing my hair. I just shaved my head like a crew cut but it still comes up. Will Head and Shoulders work? I think my scalp might be dry and that might contribute to the dandruff. But I sometimes go 5 days without washing it to prevent it from drying out and it still happens. I'm using suave shampoo. Do I need a different shampoo or conditioner. I was thinking head and shoulders. Thanks.

Try using something like selsun blue once or twice a week. If you do try that or head and shoulders, don't get the kind with conditioner in it. Its not as effective. You could also maybe try a shampoo that's less harsh or try using a natural conditioner and really rub it in good.
