I read that Saw Palmento is the active ingredient in Propecia. I'm just wondering if you can just order Saw Palmento online ansd save a ton of money.

You don't even have to order it online. It is sold at vitamin/health food stores for about $15. Make sure to buy the extract, though, it's stronger.

Propecia contains Finasteride not saw palmetto.

I would not be mixing Propecia and Saw Palmetto. One or the other, what you could accomplish by taking both is increasing the chance of side effects (enlarged breasts, sexual side effects) because you are basically overkilling it by taking both. 1mg of Finasterdine is the amount that is shown to give maximum benefit. Mixing Saw Palmetto with it is basically increasing the effect with little/no appreciable effect on hair regrowth.
