Weird Hair Mystery!!! - Hair Problems Message Board

Hi all, i'm here cos of a really ***zarre hair problem that i found no explanation for!!

occasionally, the patch of hair around my crown (about 3x3 inches) will turn greasy and sticky!! like glued spaghetti and it even happens moments after a hairwash!! there was no itch or smell as I once thought it could be shampoo residue, but not so!!

another reason could be due shampoo change, but even after multiple changes the condition returned...

does anyone experience the same problem? if so are there any good explanantions for that? i.e. symtoms of scalp condition? secretion? hair loss??

I had a problem a few years ago with a greasy patch on my head as well. It turns out it was the shampoo I was using. I was using head and shoulders but the one with conditioner in it. I think it was too much conditioner for my head. I switched to a shampoo without conditioner in it and it went away.
