Well, I have a receding hairline and I hate it. Every year it goes back a bit and it really lowers my self esteem for some reason. I've decided to try Rogaine Foam but after reading the instructions it says not to use it on receding hairlines and frontal baldness? Whats up with that?
The reason Rogain doesn't say for you to use it on your front hair is because the FDA didn't give them the approval.
I know a friend who use's rogaine on the front and it worked. He grew hair back.
Now it will vary person to person how it works.
But definitely use it on your front.
Stoller99 is pretty much right. Rogaine didn't test the frontal area and thus is not allowed to make any claims about the hairline by the FDA. This doesn't mean it doesn't work for the front, of course, as I've seen a lot of testimonials saying it does.
