| Lice -- did I catch it in time???
I brought my 6 year old twins to camp orientation today and then to get their hair cut. During camp orientation they were playing with lots of other kids; when we got to the hair salon (a kids salon) one of my sons had two lice crawling on the tips of his hair (not down by the roots); two hair dressers looked at him and did not see any nits (I didn't either) I combed him right then with a metal nit comb (bought at the salon) then treated him as soon as we got home and nit combed him again and didn't come up with anything. The woman at the hair salon and I think that it is possible he JUST got them at the camp orientation and they didn't have time to lay egss, etc... Does that sound possible. I hear so may horror stories about Lice I can't believe that I could get off that "easy" My other son does not seem to have any, another reason I think we caught them early as they share a double bed and are all over each other all the time. I will continue to check daily and retreat in 7 days as instructed but does it sound to any of you that I actually caught them that earl, or am I just fooling myself??
