| Re: slow growing hair
No product applied on your hair will make it grow faster, no matter what those hair shampoo commercials say on tv.
Your hair is 98% protein and hair health depends on what you eat and drink. Do you get enough protein in your diets eg: red meat, eggs, dairy, grains, nuts and pulses?
Hair can also be helped along by getting sufficient vitamins and minerals. Do you get enough iron, biotin, zinc, selenium in your diet?
Some illnesses or genetic factors can also depend on how fast your hair grows and how healthy it is.
So long as you are eating healthy and getting exercise and drinking lots of fresh water rather than coke or coffee and you are healthy and not suffering from any illness eg: diabetes, thyroid problems, anemia, vitamin/mineral defficiency.
Before buying over the counter vitamins and minerals it's a good idea to get a blood test done to see whether you are deficient or not as some vitamins if taken in excess can cause problems.
Go easy on hair products and hair dying and the way you style your hair. Sometimes too many chemicals or rough treatment from hair straighteners etc can damage your hair and cause it to break off.
