 Random, rough unhealthy White hairs.....whats going on?
Stats: 26 year old male, active and healthy.
I have very dark brown hair, but over the last few weeks have had white hairs pop up. I don't mean 'haha im getting old grayish'. I mean santa clause WHITE. I have periodically seen one here and there, but never more than one on my head at a time. I found 5 last night alone.
They are very coarse and very unhealthy and straggly feeling, almost like they're dead. And they don't seem to grow this way - it's almost as if the hair dies, and turns white.
Any idea what could be going on? I've been a little more stressed lately, and have had no major changes in diet. The only thing I've changed is my conditioner - I started using Mane and Tail because my hair has been getting VERY dry, thin and fragile over the last year or so (It's nearly impossible for me to grow a healthy, manageable head of hair. It's always thin with no body).
* - On a side note, I do have an EXTREMELY dry scalp (it flakes a few hours after showering). But I've had this forever.
