running finger through hair - Hair Problems Message Board

hey all, i have this bad habit, i run my fingers through my hair. i use my index and middle fingers and grab some hair and lightly pull at my hair, running my finger down the hair. i love the feeling and often i dont even know im doing it. i even do it while driving, when im studying etc. it annoys my boyfriend a lot and he always reminds me to stop doing it. i just want to know if this is bad for your hair?

I've never heard of this being bad for your hair.

Alot of people have this habit, you're not alone.

While i doubt it is bad for your hair, or bad for you, but it appears to be bad for your boyfriend. It's up to you which you prefer... If you feel it is a "bad" habit, you might take this time to re-asses your need to do it.I wish you the best.
