Hi I started turning grey when I was a teenager also. Other members of my family did too so it must run in the family. I started coloring my hair at sixteen and I still do.
I am sorry it is upsetting but try and make the best of it. There are some excellent products that look very natural and arent that expensive. Hang in there.
There are certain people who's hair looses it's pigmentation early in life. Although I understand how much it bother's you now, later in life it will give you a very distinguished look, and is very attractive.
My cousin's hair turned completely white starting in about 9th grade. He has always been the silver fox, his hair really cool looking.
Dying it is one option, but I would try to embrace it, as your signature look, be proud of yourself and your hair. As much as we all want to be the same in our younger years, when we get a little older, it's much better to be an individual.
I started getting grey hair as a teenager too. It is very prominent on both sides of my family. I hated it. But, as far as kids at school, if they noticed...they thought it was blonde highlights from the summertime. That might be something fun you can do with the colors you choose. Maybe highlights, to hide the greys. That is a fashion thing now.
I also have this, although I've had grey hair my whole life. Just dye it black, or whatever color hair you have(I'm assuming black because blonde hair and grey hair is less noticeable).
here are a couple things you can try....you can color it all....you can do low-lights (instead of highlighting it blonde, you can put your natural color back thru it just to cover the grey instead of coloring everything) of you can do highlights (blonde will help camoflauge grey hairs, plus its a fashion trend). i would personally do highlights during the summer and then low lights during the autumn and winter time.
im 21 and i have a good amount of grey hair..<edit>so i get my hair colored every 2 weeks with semi-permanent hair color and then every 2 months or so, i put a permanent color on my hair to cover the greys. its embarissing, i know..but its something ya gotta learn to live with. there's no way of getting rid of them all together, unless you want to be bald, you can shave your head. but theres a lot of different coloring techniques you can do. go talk to your hair stylist and see what she or he would do.
best of luck!!
