I'm in the same boat . . .
I've tried hot oil treatments, Avocado hair masks, EVERY dandruff shampoo, Tea Tree Oil . . . everything . . .
However i've recently stumbled across a new brand of shampoo & conditioners.
It's called 'Clear:Scalp and Hair Therapy' and it's sold at walmart and wallgreens for sure. (i promise! i'm not someone trying to sell a product!) I'm just saying that its seeming to have helped me a lot.
I would estimate that my flakiness is now MAYBE 25% as bad as it was before i tried this shampoo.
So yeah. Give it a try if you wish. Good luck!
