There really isn't anything magic about different shampoos or conditioners. They all have the same basic ingredients and work the same basic way. The only difference is if they can get "suckers" to spend $10 a bottle.
I have hair down to my waist. I use cheap suave shampoo. I buy shampoo stickly by the smell as it's so long I can smell it so I like something pleasant. I look goofy in walmart smelling all the shampoos.

Sometimes, in dry weather, I dont even use shampoo, I use conditioner to wash and condition. It's amazing how soft it leaves your hair. When I use shampoo, I don't use a conditioner as it's job is to leave a film on your hair to make it easier to comb, to tame fly-aways/split ends and so that it doesn't cause static.
Try shampooing and no conditioner. Instead of conditioner, use a stray on detangler product after shampooing. Use it sparingly. I use a walmart brand that it's the baby section.
To get a little volume, in the morning, when you're doing your blowdryer thing, hand your head down, run a little water on your hands and run them through your hair near the scalp, then blowdry upside down. You could use a non-stiff mousse instead of water if you'd like. That may be the only thing you need to do to create the volume you want without spending all kinds of money on differnt shampoos.
Good luck.
