You know, I may be way out of line here, because I am an Esthetician and not a doctor, but your symptoms seem very interesting to me....and I wonder if you have a hormonal imbalance
you claim to have slow hair growth (possibly low progesterone)
You claim to have "flushed cheeks" (seen in pregnant women)
You claim to have enlarged pores and bumps (could be miliaria - a heat-related rash - caused by hormones?)
Okay, the face flush could also be rosacea (probably more likely) Do you "flush" with spicy foods, alchohol consumption? Do you notice broken blood vessels underneth the skin?
The bumps could be allergy....laundry detergent...or it could be that you need to exfoliate and "unblock" those pores that are clogging, and causing whiteheads. ?
As for slow hair growth...HGH (human growth hormone)is used to stimulate growth in children who grow too slowly....but it also is used now to improve skin and hair quality. HGH is produced in the pituitary gland and influences the growth of cells, bones, muscles and organs. HGH peaks in adolescence, melatonin, progesterone, testosterone...and it declines with age. The production of HGH falls 80% from age 21 to 61
I took DHEA once and grew facial hairs on my chin, so I stopped taking it (I am female)
But...it also gave me acne too.
Please just consider what I have mentioned, and remember that I am not a doctor and really don't have any idea how to help you....I am just thinking outloud with you...
You should probably see a dermatologist.
Also, I am an esthetician...as I said...and microdermabrasion DOES work...but its very expensive. Hydroquinone is an ingredient in some skin care products that really does help bleach freckles, and hyperpigmentation too...so consider that.
Lemon juice on your skin will strip it of oil, and be a natural lightener! But if your skin is sensitive, which it sounds like it is...it will irritate it.
good luck!
