Question I naired my face, now its red

I need help, I naired my face, and now it is red. It is like a rash, and it stings when touched. Can someone give me advice on what to do?

I had a slight breakout when I naired my jaw... but it went away. I think it's best to just leave it be, but in the future use a more face sensitive product!

I did this one time and it was awful. You might try Neosporin or Polysporin, but I wouldn't try anything else, even lotion might be too harsh. Also, as for trying a different hair remover that is more sensitive next time - I did this and it did not go well. My skin nearly burned off. It seemed like my skin was very sensitive to any hair removing lotions in the places where I had had the reaction. Now I go to the salon and get it waxed, which works well. Good luck.

I did the same thing...used Nair on some hair near my sideburns. The redness and irritation went away after a day or two, but I also made sure to keep applying moisturizer so my skin didn't dry out.

Nair now has a hair remover for facial is better than what you use on your legs, but don't leave it on for more than 5 minutes, or you'll have the same problem with redness and irritation.

Red face

I used nair facial hair remover last night, never again!!! Don't do it! If you have very slightly sensitive skin don't even think about it. I left it on for about 4 minutes but it didn't all work so I left it on for another 2. When I washed it off, it brought a layer of skin off too. Now, I'm left with a red mark above my lip and it's quite sore. I've had a cold face cloth over the burn for a while, applied E45 cream to ease the pain and later on I'm going to attempt to be creative with my foundation. Has anyone got any home remedies to get the redness to subside???? Thank you

If you haven't found relief for your face yet, you might want to take a look at a product called Shaver's Choice. A friend of mine uses a depilatory to remove the hair from his face because he can't shave with a razor due to razor bumps. Then he uses this product afterwards. He says its a great moisturizer and skin conditioner and prevents his razor bumps. He swears by it.
