Keep up on your trims. Go as often as possible, just don't get lots trimmed off. I am growing my hair back out and my hair grows slow. My stylist trims only the smallest amount, usually about a half of a centimeter. You get rid of the ends, but not the length. Too many stylists want to whack your hair during a trim, it isn't necessary. I also use Biolage, my hair has been a lot healthier. I have very course, thick, dry hair and it's curly. I have to heat style my hair so I will always have split ends. Take vitamins, if you are healthier, your hair and nails will be as well. Get rid of any metal brushes or combs, unless you are trying to straighten your hair. At night, get a good hair treatment or heavy conditioner, put it in your hair, wrap your hair in a bun and leave over night. Comb your hair slowly when it is wet, don't try and rip out tangles. If you do place you hair in a ponytail, get holders that don't have metal bands on them. Last, be patient. I used to have hair to my waist, I decided to cut it and have been trying to grow it back out for almost 3 years now. Good luck.
