Jojoba oil contains Myristic Acid,which is a anti-inflammatory substance, it is very good for inflammed red skin,and ingrown hairs(also arthritis and rheumetism).This by no means will get rid of ingrown hairs,it may cut down the time spent healing the damaged skin,shaving creates many ,tiny little cuts on the skin,they are so small that no blood is visible to the human eye ,this might be why ingrowns happen, the skin heals over and the hair follicle is trapped.
