Does anyone know how to tell the difference between these two.

Thanks.

Re: Tension headache vs Bruxism headache

Just wanted to let you know that I experience the exact same thing. I hate it. I'm getting checked for TMJ today at the dentist. I'll try and keep you posted on what he tells me. Good luck, and let me know if you find out anything!

Re: Tension headache vs Bruxism headache

I don't know, I am new to this too. It seems as though my bruxism headaches occur first thing in the morning or in the afternoon after I have had time to clench. I can kinda tell by where they are in the temple region since that tendon is so tight and so in a bruxism headache. I'm not real sure I get a lot of tension headaches, they all seem to be from clenching or migraines, there's not a lot of in between with me right now? The tension ones did seem to start more in the back of the head if I remember correctly.
