Hey guys. I am alos having very similar issues. About 5 weeks ago I started having chest and back pains. One week after that I started having sharp "head pains" with occasional ear aches (both ears). I also have neck pain (stiffness) and there is no indication of a runny nose or congestion.
I do, however, have high blood pressure (145/100) so the doc put me on high blood pressure pills - actually as of yesterday he did. Today, my BP is normal.
I currently have a lot of stress in my life.
This week I went in for a stress test and some blood work for my heart. Everything is A-OK says my doc. However, the head pains are still present with ocassional dizziness. I am going in for a CAT and MRI scan of the brain this Friday (March 11th 2005). I feel alomost like electrical shock pains in my head and it is not localized in just one area. It is in mutiple areas. What worries me the most is that mother died of a brain aneurysm at the age of 48. She had headaches for years and the brain aneurysm wasn't found until it ruptured.
That was in 1988. I am 30 yrs old now and I am having the same symptoms. Well sorta I guess. The ear aches I have just don't seem to go hand in hand with a brain aneurysm. Although sharp head pains are present - I usually get an ear ache(s) after it and its not always near the same ear.
As for me, I just need to relax and take what comes. Am I scared - well sure. I have a family but what can be a very minor issue I can turn into a very major one if I continue to worry about it.
