Hey there, I understand what you mean about the breathing thing. It kind of feels like your throat is tightening. This happened to me when I took a higher dosage. They started me at 100mg, but realized that 50 worked just as well with none of that funny stuff. Maxalt worked OK for me as well, but made me sick when it dissolved on my tongue. (By the way, my mother works in a doctor's office, so that's how I try these prescriptions - I'm not a druggy - promise

I tried Imitrex and had problems with breathing,so I know that's one I can't take. I've taken Maxalt and it worked, but no longer...Amerge didn't really do any good either. I'm trying Midrin now...
