Headache getting better but now rapid heart beat - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

My mri came back normal and now the neuro put me on Amitriptyline and now i am having chest pains and my heart races. I give up.

I called the neuro and he said to try for a few more days which i did and it got worse. Now he told me to stop the amitripyline. Only thing im taking now is xanax. Now I have a stye on the top eyelid. I honestly think and have been reading up on it and I think I may have scalp tension. I have pimples/bumps all over my scalp. When I take a shower I feel better. But the docs say its all from stress. Any input.

If your doctor is telling you "medical problems" are being caused by stress then I do believe it's time for you to get rid of whatever is causing this stress.
Also believe your doc is throwing you some *hints*.

THEY AND/OR IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!

I have lowered my stress, theres no doubt about it. Only problem is after i starting taking all these meds the doc gave me i cant sleep at night. I think my last resort is seeing a dermatologist to see if i have a scalp infection. Maybe the meds arent working because a headache is not the problem. I dont know
