headaches from straining...

i'm 19 and worked at some dumb restaraunt up my street for a month or 2... one of the reason i quit is because i had to lift big heavy bags of trash every morning... and then put up with a head ache for the rest of the day. i would use alot of force in the right side of my body (since my right arm is stronger), and i'd always get the headaches in the right side of my head... could this have caused any kind of brain damage?

Why? Are you experiencing any problems now since quitting your job?
If so, then I suggest that you see a doctor for a checkup.

Re: headaches from straining...

no problems i guess... i still get headaches everyday... but i have also had allergies lately...

and i'm a hypochondriac...

i was recently convinced i had lung cancer and shallow blood pressure because i used to smoke... got a check up... my lungs were crystal clear and my blood pressure was "good"... so i dunno.

If you are taking over the counter medications for the headaches you are probably suffering from rebound headaches.

Click on the Health Guide tab at the top of this site & do a search on rebound headaches and headache triggers.

Good luck
