Hey everyone,

I can't swallow pills whole, I have to chew them, so for the longest time I've had to suffer through pills that tasted horrible. Now I've discovered that there are childrens pills out there I could take, but since they're for children they don't have the same amount of medicine my pills do.

What I'd like t know is, is it safe to just take the mg i normally take (500) and divide it by the mg in the childrens pills (160) and take that amount?

500/160 = 3.125

So does this mean if I took 6 childrens pills it would pretty much equal taking 2 of the regular ones?

That would be right. If you are taking 500mg of "adult" Tylenol, and the child's chewable equivelant is 160mg/tablet, then you would take 3 of the childrens tablets.

Yes.... it may be cheaper and easier to use a soluable analgesic (such as alka-seltzer)
