headaches and thight teeths. My story. :)
So i am very prone to headaches, ever since I was a child.
This last year my headaches got really bad and they seemd to be originated in my jaw, I could basically feel the pain climbing along my jaw muscles and giving me big headaches that aspirin or ibuprofen would not take care of. I went to the dentist and he detected that the muscle of my jaw had a bad contracture, and that was caused because many nights, especially when I'm stressed out, I clench my teeths.
He told me to apply heat with a heat pad for abour 10 minutes twice a day and use an analgesic ointment, rubbing it in for another 5-10 mins. I did this every day at the begining and then once a day every day, and later three times a week.
It has helped greatly. I still get headaches from other things, but ths has taken care of that constant headache.
