I have suffered from Cronic Daily Headaches with Lesions on the Brain. I have went to a number of doctors and so called specialist and got told pretty much that this is something I just need to learn to live with. I am now 36 years old and have been battling these headaches for well over 4 years. I even had a specialist tell me that we will just call the lesions "BEAUTY MARKS." I just kept on my family doctor to find me someone to help me as this is wearing on myself and my family.

By accident, I had one of my sever attacks at my parents place and my mother thought I was having a heart attack by the way I was acting. So, her reflex was just to give me a nitro to help me through it. To my (and my specialist that I see now) the nitro helped me get through it faster. Now, when I get a sever headache, I take a nitro, oxygen and an icepack to get me through these.

The specialist that I see now says that there is no way that it is a migrain (opposite of what Mayo had told me). We have done a number of tests over the years and the only thing for sure we know is that I am suffering from mini strokes. I am still searching for an actual name for what I have, but until we can figure out what is triggering these headaches, we are stuck.

I would say, you should keep trying and don't just except what they tell you! I was ready to throw the towel in, but I have a husband and 3 small children that need me. I continue to fight every day, not only to make it through, but to find an answer so that if by some chance one of my children might get it, they will have some place to start.

Keep faith that there is a doctor out there that will listen to you.
