Anyone On Ultram (tramadol) Experience Hair Thinning? - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I'm trying to figure out which one of my meds is causing my hair to thin. I read that perhaps Ultram could cause that.

Has it happened to anyone?

I finally found a med that helps my headaches...I'd hate it to be Ultram.

I take ultram in small amounts. What i mean is that i take 50mg, but not often. I take probably 15 pills a month. I do have hair thinning, but I also take MANY other meds do to the fact that I not only have migraines but I also have fibromyalgia. I have not noticed that the ultram does anything for my migraines. I have found that Topomax is a life saver for my migraines. Sorry this is little help.

I've taken ultram 50 mg tables for herniated disk pain, but haven't
seen thinning hair. I only take the ultram once or twice a week.

Thank both of you...all posts are always help.

I couldn't take Topamax, although great for my migraines...it made me depressed.

One day...if I'm still alive...maybe they will invent the perfect pill (s).

I have been taking tramadol for about 7 months and no hair thinning for me. It works great for my torn disk pain.
