Migraine

I need some advice. I had bad migraines as a teenager (am 22 now) but haven't had one in at least 2 years. I don't have any migraine medication as it's been so long since having one. Since going on birth control a month ago, I've had 5 migraines. Tonight it was so bad I could barely open my left eye. I have an appt. Wed and will bring it up then, but my question is...
Besides laying down in a dark, quiet room, does anyone know anyway to get some relief? I appreciate your thoughts.

Re: Migraine

I feel for you, I also suffer from Migraines and they are so painful that nothing I can do will eliminate the pain. I have to go to the ER and get a shot if my Prescription meds don't work.
The funny thing is I never had migraines either until I went back on birth control after being off of it for several years (like 12-14years). My Dr. put me back on it to control my periods, and since that time I have been fighting migraines every month. Before then I had never had one.
Now I am on ever med you can imagine to try to get rid of these things. I wish I would have never touched the BC pills!!
