I get a lot of headaches although they are not really that bad most of the time, I had an MRI done about 4 years ago and it was normal, I have had a headach for 3 days yesterday and i also have been getting when I lie down on my stomach I see a black spot in my right eye and kinda a throbbing in my head but passes, I went to the e.r yesterday because I can't handle the ache anymore. they did a ct scan and it was normal!
what is going on?

Have you tried amitriptyline, imtrex, high dose ibuprofen

very few cases of headache are related to leasions within the skull, so a CT or MRI usualy doesnt show anything

Seeing a physical therapist can help, taking 50mg of amitriptyline can help a lot, and when you get a bad headache, 800mg of ibuprofen ( 4 of the otc 200mg tablets) can be very useful, upto 3 times a day

I had an mri and showed nothing but sinus issues! they want to do a orbit ct scan with contrast but want me to take prednisone before hand just incase if an allergy!! NO THANKS!
