| Re: pain on top of the head
I had this problem about 10 years ago. Intense, acute pain like a needle being driven into the magnetic point at the top of my head and also a little to the left. If you're suffering from the Ice Pick headache, try stretching the neck muscles of the cervical vertebrae region. Lie down on your back and using your right hand pull down on the back of your head on the left side and then use your left hand to stretch the right side. Take deep breaths and give all the muscles, tendons and ligaments a really good stretch from the thoracic region (shoulder blades) all the way up to the brain stem. Do it slowly and gradually each time to avoid damage.
