Migraine Headhache! - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I have terrible migraines each days. My doctor gave me some pills for it but it did not work, I even took a cat scan for it, I still did not have any result from it yet. Did anyone know a herbal medcine or something else who could get me ride of thoses migraines. It such a pain, sometime I cant even function.

What kind of pills did the doctor give you? Was it something to prevent migraines, something for pain in general or something specifically for migraine headaches? If it was to help prevent migraines then you need to take it for several weeks before you may notice it's full effect. If it was pain medication or specific migraine pain medication that didn't work then you need to let the doctor know that it does not work for you. There are many products that your neurologist can try to help prevent or lessen the severity of the headaches. Go back to the neurologist and let them try something else. Your doctor cannot possibly know that the meds he gave you aren't working unless you tell them.
