smells.... - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I've had migraine headaches since I was 13 (just turned 35), and recently, I've been smelling cigarette smoke smells. Problem with that is that no one around me smokes! I smell it when I am alone, when I am around others (none of whom smoke), and when I am at work (I work at a bakery!).

My boyfriend thinks that something is wrong, but I'm not sure. Has this happened to anyone else?

I often smell various things like a strange cologne or perfume at times. I feel it is usually a sign of someone near me that has probably passed on. I try to either figure it out or just ignore the smell.

It's probably what they call an aurah...sorry not sure on spelling...
I've started experiencing them several months ago..have had migrains for years...normally a numbing sensation in my face..totally freaked me out..am sure my doc. could tell when was talking to him about it...
Today...have had the strange cologn smell & taste thing going on..couldnt even eat my soup...tasted like cologn...trust me there's no men's cologn around here...hubby's away on business...lol...but sure enough...am sick tonight...so maybe getting a new Aurah...

The only times I have ever smelled smoke and no one was there I was having an aroa before a seizure.
