dull headaches - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I posted a message a few weeks ago about having headaches that would come and go throughout the day. I haven't had those for a while now... but lately I've been getting these dull headaches. Sometimes I'll have them right when I wake up, but they usually start sometime in the morning. They last all day, and it's not a really bad headache or anything, but it really gets in the way of things, and all I wanna do is sleep when I have them. Does anyone know what could be causing these, and what I could do to get rid of them? I never really take ibuprofin, advil, etc. because they don't work for me. But it's just a weird dull pain in my forehead. Please help me out if you have any suggestions.

May be stress related. The throbbing kind are usually migrains. However, if over the counter meds are not working, suggest that you visit your doc so that you can get the stronger stuff which are always rx.

I don't know how allergies are in Florida, but in Cincinnati we all feel that way!

Hmm... I haven't thought that stress could be causing them. I sure wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, I've had a lot on my shoulders lately. Any suggestions to relieving stress? Thanks for the reply

I also have stress headaches, and have some arthritis in my neck that contributes. My doctor prescribes me Midrin, which helps alot. If you have sinus problems, they can cause a constant headache like yours also (like I stated before, allergies)
