Feels like tight strap on head- tension headache? - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I describe this pain as feeling like a swimming cap is on too tight. Just touching it slightly is painful, and is over my whole head and forehead. It has been like this for a week.

-Is this tension headache?
-Has anyone had similar for a few days/week
-Does anything help?

I have this kind of pain. Cannnot tell you if it is tension or not. But I do not it comes on at times when I spend time on the computer. Kinda feels like a football helmet being pressed down on my head that is too small.

Sometimes it just hurts at times during the day, but it is not consistent. Doc told me he had to do with my neck problems. I have a fusion years ago which is part of my problems. Aleve sometimes helps with the pain.
