Could my headaches be due to a fall I took in Aug 07' - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I hit the concrete hard when I fell in the parking lot at work.The findings of the MRI says in my spine doctors wording.I demonstrated mild desiccation at C45 and to a greater extend at C56.There was varying degrees of disc bulges of the cervical spine with no effacement of the spinal cord.The foramen was patent.That is what he described on his personal written report.On the actual MRI the report says At C-C4 there is central protrusion of the spine with effacement of the dural sac.
At C5-C6,There is bulging of the disc and moderate effacement of the dural sac.

Impression; Minor cervical spondylosis as described above.

As time goes on the headaches seem to be getting worse to the point where I feel dizzy ,nauseous and I've even started throwing up during some of the headaches.I just have a sick feeling in my stomach.The headaches start at the right above my neckline then move upwards,then it centers around to the sides of my head to my forehead and finally between my eyes.I've never had this many headaches throughout my entire life like I've had over the last few months.

I would think so. Have you talked to a neurosurgeon yet? Not sure where you are located, but we have many fantastic ns in my area. I would get this checked out asap.

Have a neurologist check you for a vertebral artery dissection, which results in stroke and generally death but I am living proof that some people live through it, and see if that might have happened. Mine resulted from a blow to the head, at work, and I was sent to several doctors until a neurologist finally got a brain MRI and then he followed it with an MRA to confirm the dissection. I developed migraine and a slow beat nystagmus, which can only be detected by proper testing and it later developed to Oscillopsia.
