Annoying tickling sensation in head. - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

For around the past 6 months I have been getting this really, really annoying tickling sensation on the left side of my head. I have TMJ and I have had a CAT scan which only showed a sinus infection at the time. I also get this really weird tightness on that side of my neck and sometimes it feels like my neck doesn't want to support my head and I have also had an x-ray on my neck which came back as I was having muscle spasms. I have no idea what this sensation is and it is really scaring me and it makes me a little dizzy. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I have TMJ and I have the same thing! It's not as bad as it was before I had my splint, but I have some days where the tickling is all over my head. Someone I know in nursing school said it's tension related, which makes sense. Boy am I glad I'm not the only one, I am only 35 but was beginning to think it was menopause.

OMG! I have been searching and searching for someone that could relate to what I have been experiencing! I am the same age as you are by the way, isn't it horrible that feeling can make you crazy. Thanks so much for giving me some kind of sense of relief that I am not alone in this thing.

I get the same thing only mine is MAV related.
