| Pain on back right side of head
My situation is complicated. I can't take Advil or any other anti-inflamitories because I have IBS. I suffer from headaches due to air pressure changes. Recently I moved to an area that is in the mountains, where air pressure is changing regularly. For the past week or so I've been dealing with an intense pain running up the right side of the back of my head. It also often feels like it's in my neck and top of my shoulder too. It comes and goes throughout the day, but never seems to go away completely. Tylenol takes the edge off a bit, but isn't a good solution. I totally avoid all caffeine because it gives me migrains (among things). I find that when I get air pressure headaches I also get really tight muscles in my shoulders and back and I get hyper-sensitive knots in my back too. My husband worked out a bunch of knots from the right side of my back yesterday, but the headaches are still around today. I'm not experiencing any serious degree of stress, so I don't think that's a factor.
Any insite or suggestions? This is so frustrating!
