Intermittent pain above my right eyebrow

Last night when I was doing my physical therapy exercises I had a sharp pain, starting at the inner part of my eyebrow, radiate half way up my forehead. The pain lasted about 5 seconds and was done. About 2 - 3 minutes later it happened again. It had a focal point of my eyebrow and radiated upward...and it happened in cycles. Pain, fine for 2 1/2 minutes, pain. It was sort of like contractions in its regularity. This continued for 4 hours until I went to sleep. The pain had ceased when I woke up several hours later.

This morning it felt like the eye was dry and bulging (it wasn't, just felt that way). When I went to therapy this morning, the pain started again on the same exercise. There was only two pulses, about 2-3 minutes apart and it stopped this time. Now there is just a general heaviness in my forehead.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be or what I should do? I ws really freaked out about the timing of them, but they did end up ceasing. The one particular hamstring exercise seemed to bring them on.

Shandi

Re: Intermittent pain above my right eyebrow

Sounds like the nerves from your C2 disc may be sending pain messages to your eye . Could be poor spinal alignment . Not sure why you are going to therapy but I am pretty sure the 2 are related .
The C2 disc's nerves extend to many parts of the face , including the eyes and can cause severe headaches if the disc is in any way misaligned or damaged .
Hope that helps .
