Zoloft and 5 HTP - Headaches & Migraines Message Board

I am taking 100 ml. of zoloft daily with wellbuterin. I also have migraines so I can't take zomig or an of those other migraine meds. I want to go on the natural route...my only choice right now. Does anyone know if taking 5 HTP will scew up my seratonin even more? I tried feverfew and it upset my stomach. Anything else I can try? I had a migraine for about 3 days now.

Have you tried imitrex nasal spray (totally bypasses stomach issues)? that is what i can take without the stomach upset. I can take tylenol based pain meds. I wouldn't take another med that works with the serotonin without speaking with your doctor. You may need to call your doc or go to urgent care to get a shot. The imitrex spray for me helps with the nausea

I take 5 htp for sleep/mild anxiety but have never heard of it being used for migraines
