I get headaches about twice a year for about 2 or 3 mos everyday . what happens is my magnesium levels drop too low and causes them so I go to doc and get mag. by perscription (different than vitamin) than once my levels are back up Im good for a wile til next episode.

I feel your pain. I get the same thing. I have headaches pretty regular but around the time of my monthly(I still have ovaries but no uterus) I get a headache that no med will touch. After about 5 days it will go away. So its possible this may be horomonal related. Regular tylenol or advil does not help mine. I can take a goody powder and it will knock the edge off.

I get the same type of headache, usually it's concentrated in one of my eyes. I've tried many things that haven't worked, but my doctor gave me something called Zomig. It works so well, takes completely away and rarely have to take a second dose. Hopefully you have insurance though because even with my insurance it's not cheap. It's worth the money though not losing 4 or 5 days a month to misery.
